Doner Implodes? More Like Rises Again…

After all kinds of internal issues [Mgmt shuffling, pension questions, etc.], followed by the recent loss of Mazda NA, many of us thought that maybe Doner was in a world of hurt, bound inevitably for the Agency ‘dustbin’ of history as so many before them. I’ll certainly admit that in my case personally.

Funny thing happened on the way there, it turns out: they just picked up Chrysler’s Tier II AND III biz, effective immediately. And they’re in the running for the Nat’l/Tier I biz, too. See the AdWeek article HERE.

In the real world, of real dollars? Mazda was about a $150M client yearly. Chrysler looks to be well north of $500M, or more than TRIPLE the billings.

Gotta say: very impressive, Doner. And congratulations.
